The Visual Arts Center serves Charlotte County, and beyond with three major galleries, 6 classrooms, jewelry, glass, pottery & technology studios, an arts library, Gift Gallery, Art & Supply Store and VAC logo items. Our 12,000 square foot facility provides the best art classes, instructors and exhibit opportunities for the community. Our courses are designed for all ages and skill levels and we offer classes and workshops in a variety of arts media throughout the year.
Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens.
At Peace River Botanical & Sculpture Gardens, our inception is rooted in the ancient. Inspired by a 50-million-year-old stone palm frond fossil, our remarkable signature sculpture—STEEL PALM—embodies the very essence of our sanctuary. Spanning 27 acres, this mesmerizing waterfront paradise seamlessly blends Florida's native flora, world-class sculptures, and modern interpretive art, culminating in one of the state's largest and most captivating botanical and sculpture gardens.
